Nomination for the 2026 Competition (Humanities)

You can upload your nomination here. As a scholar, you can nominate one monograph; as a publisher, you can nominate up to two titles. By submitting your nomination, you confirm that the authors agree to be nominated and, if applicable, to receive the award.

Please send two printed copies of the monograph to the Divan address in Berlin and also upload the following files here:

  • a digital version of the monograph – please name the file as follows: Riwaq2026_[author name]_[language: AR/DE/EN]_book. Example: Riwaq2026_Hanssen_EN_book
  • the nomination form containing information about the author and the work, a short biography (max. 200 words), and an academic appraisal of the work (max. 1,000 words) – please name the file as follows: Riwaq2026_[author name]_[language: AR/DE/EN]_info. Example: Riwaq2026_Hanssen_EN_info
